D’Oliva Al Forno

A Little Slice Of Italy In The Heart Of Porto: D’Oliva Al Forno

Every metropolitan city on the planet strives to provide a range of cuisines for the enjoyment of their citizens and visitors and Porto is no different. A rising star on the Porto restaurant scene, the D’Oliva Al Forno restaurant is a unique venue that provides a nightly portal to Italy with its wide range of traditional favorites.

Housed in a former wine warehouse, this once drab space has been transformed into a very trendy and tastefully decorated Italian restaurant. Wooden shelves line the walls around the spacious bar area, holding this Porto restaurant’s collection of more than 200 different varieties of wine, some imported, but most of them from local wineries.

At the D’Oliva Al Forno restaurant, you can get any kind of fresh pasta that is to be had. Pizza, spaghetti, ravioli and tempting Alfredo dishes are available nightly, along with some truly delicious desserts, like the classic tiramisu. The rest of the menu contains new variants on traditional dishes, all provided by a formerly native Italian chef known for the quality of it’s creations.

Not exactly new to the Porto restaurant scene, this open space restaurant is one of many establishments from the same owners. All of them regularly feature fish dishes as part of the nightly specials, plus the lunch service, which features buffet and a la carte services. Dinner begins promptly at 7, six nights a week.
