Pedro e o Lobo Restaurant: A Feast For The Senses

Not far from the bustling Avenida da Liberade stands the former home of a once trendy contemporary museum of art. Until recently, the building stood empty, but then, it was transformed into one of the new Lisbon restaurants gems: Pedro e o Lobo Restaurant, featuring Portuguese inspired meals, with an international touch.

The brainchild of a trio of gifted entrepreneurs, this recent Lisbon restaurant features an elegant, yet simple décor, with a menu inspired by traditional Portuguese dishes, delivered with an international twist.

The chefs, who appear young enough to have only graduated from culinary school, are actually experienced veterans from some of the most popular restaurants ever, like Per Se in New York, and Lisbon’s Eleven Michelin starred restaurant.

Pedro e o Lobo restaurant features a tasting menu that consists of six of their most popular dishes that costs around 36 euros, sans drinks. The wine list features mostly Portuguese labels, and was designed by the third crew member, whose past experience boasts the title of Master from the Cinco Lounge cocktail bar, so you know it has to be spot on.

Considering the dedication this team has shown in providing inspired menu selections, with an ambience that matches the food, and a quality of service that sets the bar even higher, it is no wonder that this restaurant has been named one of the best newcomers to the Lisbon restaurants scene.
